A Solid Start

We have been honored by so many bright and intelligent people who have engaged with us in the discussion about owning our personal data, surfacing actionable insights from our data, and even profiting in the exchange of our data. This discussion is still very much in its infancy, and is a truly fertile place to learn and grow. From our discussions with our intelligence network, we were able to more clearly see the hurdles we will need to go over, around, or under — to lead people into sovereign identities with data ownership. And the reality is that now, we are so comically far away from it, that the notion of sovereignty is more like a proverbial heaven than I had realized. Sovereignty is VERY aspirational. It is not the starting point, but a place we can go if enough of us gather with that intention.

So that lead us into a conversation about how to best gather people, and what immediate, "hair on fire” problems we could solve for them. And it brought Brooke and I right back to where our journey began: the desire to Help people clarify their goals, and move faster towards them. But now we had a specific audience that makes up most of our collective networks.

We have this problem of feeling so much friction in the fractured way we do things in our digital environments. It’s really hard to have a home base for our priorities — a complete summary of where we are, and what we should do next. This may not be true for everyone…but I think a lot of people feel lost somewhere between paper notes and the many digital environments that carry our tasks, which are now spread between dozens of apps and services. It breeds uncertainty that can easily lead us into the temptation of short sighted immediate gratification (infinite scrolling!), or actions that don’t really move the ball forward for us, towards our goals. Unfortunately our mobile devices and apps aren’t designed to help us with this — quite the contrary!

Who Am I?

You don’t have to be Derek Zoolander to feel dazed and confused. The question of “Who am I?” Feels more out of reach than it needs to be. You are what you spend your time doing — and perhaps more pertinently, the quality of how you spend your time ‘being’.

Our devices already collect a heavy-handed amount of what we're doing, through location tracking, witnessing every digital interaction we make, and even listening to our spoken language. But the problem is that insights from this data are not making it back to PEOPLE. Our data is being mined by big tech — And in many cases, it is the oil rig that lines their profits. Big Tech’s goals are simply not aligned with People’s, and so that is a big contributing factor to the friction we feel living in this world. Of course, large, institutional goals out of alignment with the populace certainly didn’t begin with Big Tech — but they have been the gods of change in the recent era.

What can we do to more consistently align our selves and our tools with our goals?

Sol Ai

At Sol Forms, we believe that a well designed personal Ai chat (no ‘artificial’ ingredients!), is the way for people to learn more about themselves, understand the value of their data, and ultimately walk (ascend?) into the era of Sovereignty. But this is a journey that will take time.

We found that our team is also seemingly tailor-made for tackling this challenge. We had to look at ourselves as Founders, and with the team of people we had, and ask, “What is the thing we are uniquely suited to do?”

From Brookes’ experience with marketing B2B Ai and Robotics, to John’s longstanding career in both data science and leadership development in the U.S. Army, Alex’s incredible wealth of research and practice in goal-orientation and human processing, and my own passion to drive change through a multitude of stale domains by telling a better story that amplifies the light instead of the dark — it was clear we were made for this : )

We suddenly realized that everything —many of the features we had previously designed and discussed, would meet the right people, at the right time, through their interaction with a Sol Ai.

Web 3.0 Cluster

If you think of “Web 3.0” as a cluster of new tech innovations.. we’re talking about Blockchain, AI, IOT, and sovereign, borderless digital identities. These are all going to interact and mingle together. Increasingly, I believe the brands that provide the most delightful human experiences are the ones that will succeed. We’re seeing industries like gaming and fintech shift enormously and are blending together. Payments are increasingly happening in the digital environments that people are already in, enjoying themselves. For me, and a lot of other people that’s not a “samo-samo” banking app.

As Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, insightfully tweet-stormed, payment transaction costs are going the way of the text message — virtually free and abundant. This will carry industry and human behavior change to places we can’t right now imagine.

The Changeless part of the story

One thing that hasn’t changed, and won’t change through this incredible mesh of Web 3.0 technologies, is the importance of telling a compelling story, with an authentic voice. At Sol Forms, we see Ai as the way to engage people uniquely, how they want to be spoken to, and in a timely manner.

We couldn't be more excited to unfold this story, and to free people from robotic tasks so they can be more of what they’re aiming for, and in the richest qualities.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
